You will uplift the maturity and supportability of the Azure integration platform by improving resilience, observability and operational controls. You will operate in an agent-led delivery model where AI agents are trusted to execute meaningful implementation work under human supervision, with emphasis on outcomes, quality controls, and repeatability rather than approval of every step. In this newly created role, you will support FN’s early adoption of AI by introducing repeatable, supervised delivery patterns and progressively embedding them into day‑to‑day engineering and operational practices. As our Senior AI Automation Engineer – Integrations you will also contribute integration domain SME insight, reusable patterns, and delivery learnings into FN’s enterprise AI standards and guardrails through established architecture and governance forums. GET EXCITED TO: Design and deliver end-to-end integrations using approved patterns and AI-assisted engineering. Build and maintain integration components using .NET and C# aligned to Azure integration services. Ensure integration solutions are consistent, maintainable, and aligned to enterprise standards. Assess legacy integrations and support refactor/rewrite into supported languages and target patterns. Use AI-assisted approaches to accelerate modernisation while maintaining correctness and operational safety. Improve documentation, traceability, and maintainability of modernised integration assets. Improve middleware operational maturity including logging, monitoring, alerting, retries, error handling, and sequencing. Establish and uplift operational controls to improve reliability and reduce support effort. Contribute to integration runbooks, support processes, and incident response improvements. Reduce recurring incidents through standard patterns and engineering improvements. Ensure integrations are resilient, observable, and supportable in production environments. Monitor and continuously improve integration performance, reliability, and operational transparency. THE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU OFFER US Proven experience delivering enterprise integrations in production environments. Strong hands-on experience with .NET and C#. Strong experience with Azure integration and middleware services. Experience implementing resilience and operational support patterns (monitoring, alerting, retries, error handling). Experience modernising/refactoring legacy integration solutions.
