The Role Lead and oversee the end-to-end discharge function, in this newly created role. Work within the company’s Lending Operations team, and combine people leadership, with operational oversight, stakeholder liaison and reporting. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you will enjoy the variety that this role offers. Manage the case lifecycle of discharge related requests Ensure accurate, timely and compliant processing and mitigate risks Build relationships with solicitors, finance and internal stakeholders Lead and coach the discharges team to achieve high performance Manage workflow and monitor team productivity and deadlines Provide guidance and escalation support Oversee and monitor bank accounts and settlement allocation About You The ideal candidate will be experienced in discharge functions, within financial services. You have the capacity to support and guide discharge officers through daily tasks and case management. It is essential you have gained this experience within the mortgage lending sector, and relevant qualifications are preferred but not required. You have a passion for stakeholder management, and strong communication skills. You are adept at payout calculations, settlements, reconciliations and loan closures.
