This is a unique opportunity to combine clinical expertise with relationship-based care in a school environment where health, wellbeing and learning are deeply connected. You will play a key role in delivering responsive care, supporting student health plans, and contributing to a safe, inclusive and proactive wellbeing culture. This is a term-time role (Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm), including two additional weeks across the school year for professional development), with occasional flexibility required for some school trips. Key Responsibilities Provide primary health care, first aid and emergency response to students, staff and visitors Deliver a preventative, early-intervention approach to student health and wellbeing Support and coordinate student health care plans, including chronic conditions and anaphylaxis Liaise with staff, families and external providers to ensure continuity of care Maintain accurate clinical records and reporting aligned with professional standards Ensure compliance with NSW Health requirements, including communicable disease management Contribute to a safe and healthy school environment, including WHS and risk management Support students experiencing anxiety or complex health needs with calm, informed care About You We are seeking an experienced qualified Registered Nurse who brings both clinical confidence and a strong relational approach. The successful candidate will demonstrate: Sound clinical judgement and the ability to respond calmly in complex situations Experience in assessment, triage and first aid/acute care Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students and families High attention to detail in documentation and medication management A proactive approach to health promotion, safety and wellbeing The ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Experience in a school or youth-focused setting is highly regarded, but not essential.
