Position Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The successful candidate will bring both culinary flair and operational excellence to prepare high-quality dishes, uphold food safety standards, and enhance our guest dining experience. Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present Indian cuisine at a consistent and high standard Support menu development and daily specials Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and cost control Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace health and safety regulations Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to maintain service flow and quality Maintain cleanliness and uphold hygiene standards in all kitchen areas Key Requirements Proven experience in Indian culinary settings, preferably in a similar chef role Demonstrated ability to manage kitchen operations and contribute to menu innovation Strong knowledge of food safety standards and safe food handling Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills Eligibility to work in Australia (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid visa) Minimum certificate IV / diploma
