The Role (Multiple Opportunities) These roles sit across both site maintenance teams and field service positions, working on a range of heavy mining equipment across North QLD operations. Depending on the role, you will be: Servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy mobile plant Breakdown response and preventative maintenance Field service work across multiple mine sites or projects Component change-outs and fault finding (mechanical & hydraulics) Working on OEM equipment including Sandvik, CAT, Normet, and more A mix of underground-focused work, with some surface exposure Travel & Roster This role offers a structured yet flexible work schedule with the following: FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville with charter and commercial flights provided. Short bus transfer from the airport to site. 8:6 or 2:2 roster across days and nights or just dayshift (role dependent) Full camp accommodation and meals included with all roles Your Skills & Experience To be successful in these roles you need to be: Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter / HD Mechanic or an experience LV mechanic on heavy vehicles Experience on mining or civil / heavy earthmoving equipment Underground experience is highly regarded but not essential for all roles Strong fault-finding ability and hands-on approach Safety-focused with a team-oriented mindset What's Next?
