The Role & Duties In this role, you'll work within a skilled maintenance team, supporting the performance and reliability of a modern underground fleet. Operating fuel trucks (surface & underground) and completing truck inspections Servicing, diagnostics, and repairs across heavy mobile plant and mining machinery. Attending breakdowns and carrying out preventative maintenance. Component change-outs and fault-finding on mechanical and some hydraulic systems. Hands-on exposure to OEM equipment including Sandvik, CAT, Normet, and Elphinstone. Travel & Roster This role offers a structured yet flexible work schedule with the following: FIFO from Brisbane or Townsville with commercial flights provided. Short bus transfer from the airport to site. 8:6 or 7:7 roster across days and nights. Full camp accommodation and meals included. Your Skills & Experience To be successful within this role and hit the ground running you will need to have the following: Heavy diesel trade qualification in Cert III or equivalent. Proven experience working on heavy equipment e.g. earthmoving, agricultural or civil. Open cut or underground mining experience is highly regarded. Strong safety focus and ability to work effectively within a team. Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical and police clearance. What's next?
