The team is looking for a Software Development Manager (SDM) to lead a team of Software, Systems and Networking engineer to expand solutions that support the backbone of the entire AWS global network. In this role, you will lead a hybrid team of software, systems development, and network engineers to understand requirements and extend platforms that support software-defined networks (SDN). You are joining a high performing team interacting closely with other engineering teams across USA, Ireland and Australia. Key job responsibilities Lead an established high performing team to identify opportunities and deliver software defined traffic engineering solutions for AWS global backbone networks leveraging your software and networking background. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing indistinguishable from perfect global network at the lowest possible cost for our customers.
