The details matter. So do the people behind them. We're hiring a Pallet Controller to join our Pinkenba team in a permanent, Monday to Friday role. You'll be the go-to person for everything pallet-related, keeping track of equipment, holding suppliers accountable, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. Your Opportunity Reporting into the Supply Chain team, you'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to keep our pallet management process running smoothly. Day to day, you'll be across: Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and trading partners Coordinating pallet movements across the business with clear process controls in place Running stock takes and managing the end-to-end reconciliation process Investigating discrepancies, getting to the root cause, and recommending practical fixes Tracking and improving KPI reporting to keep performance and accountability on track Managing pallet hire programs like CHEP and Loscam, including training site teams Maximising the use of reusable pallets in line with our safety and quality standards Keeping our Pallet Management Process fresh by adopting industry best practice Pitching in to support the Inventory Team when needed What You’ll Bring Experience in pallet management, logistics, supply chain or inventory control Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a knack for investigating discrepancies and driving resolution Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CHEP, Loscam or similar systems is a bonus A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to manage competing priorities without dropping the ball Why Join Cement Australia?
