Experienced Chefs & Cooks – Central Coast NSW Bateau Bay Hotel, Kincumber Hotel and Terrigal Hotel are currently seeking Experienced Chefs and Experienced Cooks to join our high-volume, fast-paced Central Coast kitchen teams. Chef Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily kitchen operations in collaboration with the Head Chef Plan and develop menus, daily specials and chef’s features Maintain exceptional quality control and consistency across all service Manage stock levels, ordering and supplier relationships Train, mentor and roster kitchen staff, including cooks and kitchen hands Ensure full compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP & Food Safety Programs) Skills & Experience Commercial Cookery qualification preferred Proven experience as a qualified Chef in a busy hotel or restaurant kitchen Strong menu-planning and costing skills Confident leadership, communication and team-building ability Solid experience with seafood and steak cookery 2. Cook Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items under the direction of the Head Chef and senior Chefs Set up stations and ensure all ingredients and supplies are ready for service Chop, portion and prepare food including vegetables, meats and sauces Work closely with front-of-house to ensure timely, high-quality service Assist with portion control, waste management and kitchen efficiency Support training of kitchen hands and junior staff Skills & Experience Commercial Cookery qualification preferred Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong knife skills and knowledge of standard cooking techniques Ability to follow recipes accurately and work well under pressure Positive attitude, reliable communication and eagerness to learn Remuneration & Benefits Salary Range: $76,515 – $90,000 per annum (depending on role and experience) Flexible full-time and casual opportunities available Supportive management and genuine career development pathways Well-resourced kitchens across multiple high-profile venues
