About the role As a Platform Risk Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in protecting members, employers and the fund from fraud and financial crime across key payment platforms. Working in a highvolume, timecritical environment, you’ll monitor, investigate and respond to suspicious payment activity linked to Payday Super and BEAM clearing house transactions. This role sits at the heart of ART’s risk operations, partnering closely with financial crime, platform, risk and operational teams. You’ll apply sound judgement, a riskbased mindset and strong attention to detail to ensure timely outcomes while meeting regulatory and governance expectations. It’s an opportunity to deepen your financial crime capability while contributing to enterprisewide protection and continuous improvement. Day to day, you'll: Perform endtoend transaction monitoring across multiple payment channels, including Direct Debit, BPAY, EFT and NPP Identify, assess and prioritise potentially fraudulent or suspicious payment activity using established rules, grids and alerts Take ownership of matters from initial detection through to investigation, escalation and resolution Apply a riskbased approach to triage decisions, balancing fraud prevention, member protection and operational timeframes Document investigations, decisions and outcomes accurately to support audit, assurance and regulatory reporting Collaborate with Financial Crime Investigations, BEAM platform teams and key stakeholders across the business Contribute to the enhancement of monitoring controls by identifying emerging fraud trends and control gaps Support quality assurance activities, trend analysis and reporting to strengthen control effectiveness Maintain strong alignment to AML/CTF obligations, internal policies and ART’s risk appetite About you It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them.
