Your Employer Our client is a leading Australian beef processor, supplying premium grain-fed and grass-fed beef to domestic and global markets. With more than 60 years of industry presence and backed by an international parent group, they operate a large-scale, export-focused facility with advanced food safety, traceability, and processing systems. Their vertically integrated supply chain and high-capacity operations position them as a key player in Australia’s red meat sector, offering exposure to complex production environments and state-of-the-art machinery.The Role This newly created position presents a unique opportunity to take ownership of existing systems to improve asset lifecycle performance and reliability at an established manufacturing plant. Initially focussed on stabilising current CMMS systems (MEX), the role will evolve into driving data-led maintenance planning, improving preventative maintenance compliance, and strengthening critical spares availability. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Improving CMMS data quality across work orders, spare parts, PMs, and failure codes. Maintaining and enhancing asset registers, hierarchies, and technical documentation. Analysing and reporting on data to identify opportunities for cost reduction, energy efficiencies, and improved equipment performance. Supporting maintenance audits and inspections to further continuous improvement initiatives. About You Our ideal candidate will bring experience in equipment reliability, asset management, or maintenance coordination within a large-scale manufacturing or processing environment. They will be comfortable working across multiple departments and using data to drive decisions and implement improvements. Key criteria include: Previous experience in asset management, inventory control, or similar roles Strong CMMS capability (MEX or similar systems) Ability to interpret technical documentation and apply it to maintenance planning Solid data analysis and reporting skills Strong communication across trades, operations, and management Self-directed with initiative and problem-solving ability The Benefits: This is a permanent, day-shift opportunity offering long-term stability and the chance to shape reliability practices within a complex processing environment.
