Your Opportunity Are you a hands-on finance leader who enjoys owning the numbers, improving processes, and stepping into a role where you can make an immediate impact? This could be the perfect fit. We've partnered with a city-based business with a strong culture and experienced leadership team. You'll join a growing organisation where finance plays an important role in supporting the business, and where you'll work closely with senior leaders to help keep the finance function running smoothly during a key period. This is a 3-month contract with an immediate start. You'll be reporting directly to senior leadership and taking ownership of the day-to-day finance operations, with a strong focus on month-end delivery, cashflow, reconciliations, and process improvement across a multi-entity environment. You can expect to be hands on with: End-to-end month-end reporting including P&L, balance sheet and cashflow Budgeting, forecasting, and maintaining a rolling outlook Cashflow management and short-term liquidity planning Commission and incentive calculations, including reconciliation Balance sheet, bank, and intercompany reconciliations Oversight of AR/AP including debtor management and payment approvals Supporting BAS/IAS and compliance requirements Driving process improvements across systems and reporting Partnering with stakeholders to provide insights on business performance Who You Are We're looking for a hands-on finance professional who is comfortable stepping into a role with ownership and accountability, and who enjoys improving processes rather than just maintaining them. CA / CPA qualified or equivalent Experience as a Finance Manager or senior Financial Controller Strong multi-entity experience using Xero (essential) Experience working with commission-based or incentive-driven environments is a must have Strong Excel and financial modelling capability Proven ability to improve finance processes, systems, and reporting Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment Strong communicator who can work across all levels of the business Experience managing or mentoring team members (including offshore is a plus) Interview Process This process will include a short skills assessment followed by an interview.
