Location: Hybrid Sydney CBD About the role The Senior Marketing Manager provides leadership and oversight of marketing, digital marketing and member experience activities for Doctors’ Health Fund (DHF). This role is accountable for brand positioning, executing the transformation of our digital marketing capability. Driving strong lead generation and customer engagement through integrated marketing programs, leveraging strong stakeholder relationships. Reporting into the Head of Marketing and Growth, this leadership role manages 4 direct reports and an overall team size of 6. Key Accountabilities Marketing Strategy Execution Translate the Head of Marketing and Growth’s strategic direction into actionable marketing plans across campaigns, events and partnerships. Ensure all marketing activities align with brand guidelines and organisational objectives. Digital Marketing Leadership Drive digital marketing initiatives, including website, social media, and performance marketing, to support acquisition and engagement targets. Champion data-driven decision-making and optimise digital channels for ROI. Support delivery of group projects to move current digital marketing assets and platform to Avant Content Management System. Partnerships and Events Manage strategic partnerships and deliver campaigns and events that strengthen brand presence and member engagement. Ensure partnerships align with growth and retention strategies. Team Leadership Lead and develop a team of four specialists/managers, fostering collaboration and high performance. Provide coaching and mentoring to ensure capability growth and delivery excellence. Performance Monitoring Track and report on campaign performance, Lead generation, digital engagement, and partnership outcomes. Contribute insights to inform continuous improvement and strategic planning. Collaboration Work closely with Sales teams to ensure marketing initiatives support acquisition and retention goals. Partner with other business units (e.g. Operations, Transformation, Information Services and Group functions) to deliver integrated member experiences. Internal Controls & Risk Management Lodge and actively manage any risk incidents and issues; Participate in Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) reviews and updates; Responsible for reviewing and testing the effectiveness of controls to ensure they are designed and operating effectively and to amend controls as and where required. Support any risk activities and initiatives as assigned. Key experience and qualifications required: Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline. Previous experience in integrated marketing leadership roles, including digital brand, campaign management and segment strategy Experience in Private Health Insurance or finance and banking industry (preferred) Ability to translate Marketing strategy into integrated plans across brand, digital, partnerships, and campaigns driving engagement and lead generation. Building a high performing team and driving cross functional collaboration with Sales, Operations, Transformation, and Compliance. Deep knowledge of performance marketing, content, SEO/SEM, social, CRO, and marketing automation. Using data and experimentation (A/B testing, audience segmentation) to improve lead generation, cost per acquisition, and customer lifetime value. Protecting and elevating brand positioning and crafting member centric messaging aligned to value propositions and regulatory requirements. Identifying, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships (medical bodies, education, conferences). Building dashboards; interpreting campaign, channel, and funnel metrics to guide decisions. Managing budgets, forecasting, and ROI; prioritising high impact initiatives. Ensuring regulatory compliance with campaign and digital content (claims communications, product statements, privacy).
