We are looking for an experienced Stainless Steel Tradesman to join the team in a full-process fabrication role. This is not a repetitive production position — you will own your jobs from start to finish, producing high-quality work you can be proud of. The client specialises in high-end commercial kitchen and bar fit-outs for Tier 2 builders, government projects, and premium hospitality venues. This role will lead to a permanent position for the right person. Your responsibilities will include: - Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings - Material prep, layout, and brake press folding - TIG welding in stainless steel - Grinding, sanding, and polished finishing to a high standard - Assembly and final detailing - Occasional on-site installation To be considered you must have: - Proven experience in commercial kitchen or bar fabrication - Strong TIG welding experience in stainless steel - High-standard finishing and polishing skills - Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings - Full-process fabrication experience (not just welding) - Ability to work unsupervised and manage your own jobs - Minimum 5 years' experience in stainless steel fabrication Qualifications - Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade) or equivalent trade background Whats on offer: - Varied, skilled work — no two jobs the same - Stable, full-time role with an established business - Collaborative team environment in the Illawarra Applications without demonstrated commercial kitchen or bar fabrication experience will not be progressed.
