With over 30 years of operation, we provide visitors with a relaxing, nature-filled experience. We operate 7 days a week, including public holidays (closed Christmas Day and Anzac Day). About the Role This hybrid position combines Front of House (FOH) responsibilities with Senior Administrative leadership. You will be a key part of ensuring exceptional visitor experiences while maintaining efficient business operations. Front of House (FOH) Responsibilities: Welcome guests and provide a professional, friendly first impression. Manage admissions, bookings, and ticket sales. Provide information on park attractions, accommodation, and camping. Promote and upsell wildlife experiences. Answer phone enquiries promptly and professionally. Assist with events, birthday parties, and catering. Operate and maintain the gift shop (sales, stock, presentation, cleanliness). Support café operations (taking orders, serving food and drinks as needed). Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workspace. Open and close café and retail areas, including till reconciliation. Train and support new team members. Follow all safety and security procedures. Senior Administrative Responsibilities: Oversee daily administrative operations across the business. Supervise and support administrative staff. Develop and improve office systems, policies, and procedures. Manage schedules, bookings, and internal coordination. Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation. Assist with budgeting, expenses, and purchasing. Maintain accurate records and databases. Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Identify and implement process improvements. Key Requirements – FOH: Strong customer service and communication skills. Excellent organisational and time management abilities. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proactive and solution-oriented mindset. Confident handling of customer enquiries and complaints. Cash handling and basic math skills. Professional presentation and reliability. Availability to work weekends and public holidays (9:30am – 4:30pm; no split shifts). Responsible Service of Alcohol (TAS) – or willingness to obtain within 1 month. Key Requirements – Senior Administration: Minimum 5 years’ experience in administration or office management. Proven leadership and team coordination skills. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. High attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Ability to manage confidential information. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Staff Training and Competency: Documented experience and qualifications in wildlife or similar hospitality/administration roles preferred. In-house training programs provided, including induction and ongoing professional development. Support for learning and adhering to safety, welfare, and operational protocols.
