Welder – Pakenham Workshop, VIC Shadbolt Group is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team on a casual basis at our Pakenham workshop. This role offers the opportunity to work within a well-established fabrication business delivering quality outcomes across a range of structural and project-based work. About the Role You will be responsible for performing high-quality welding and fabrication tasks within our workshop environment, ensuring all work meets required standards of safety, quality, and accuracy. Key Responsibilities Welding and fabrication of structural steel components MIG welding (and other processes as required) Reading and interpreting workshop drawings Ensuring weld quality meets specification standards Operating workshop tools and equipment safely Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workspace About You Proven welding experience in a workshop environment Strong MIG welding skills (ticketed welders advantageous) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Commitment to safety and quality workmanship Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Trade qualification highly regarded but not essential depending on experience What We Offer Competitive casual hourly rates Workshop-based role (Pakenham, VIC – no travel) Consistent work within a supportive team environment Opportunity to contribute to key fabrication projects If you are a skilled Welder looking for steady workshop-based casual work, we would like to hear from you.
