About the role: Our client is a large Commonwealth department central to the Australian Government’s economic agenda, delivering programs across industry, science and resources. The CIO Division is seeking experienced CRM Developers with strong Dynamics 365 and Power Platform expertise to build and extend CRM modules within an existing Dynamics 365 instance. Responsibilities: You will configure and extend Dynamics 365 CE/Dataverse solutions, building CRM modules, workflows, plugins and Power Automate flows from documented user stories. You will also configure integrations between D365, Azure SQL, TechOne and Power Pages. This is a hands-on development role within a multidisciplinary agile team, not a functional consultant or advisory position. Configure and extend CRM modules, entities, forms, views, dashboards and business rules within Dynamics 365 Design and implement workflows, plugins and Power Automate flows from user stories and requirements Configure CRM connectors and integrations across Azure SQL, TechOne and Power Pages Implement the D365 security model including security roles, access controls and external system integration Maintain and contribute to technical design documentation Essential criteria – please do not apply unless you meet all of the following: Technical (Dynamics 365 / Power Platform): Demonstrated experience configuring and building Dynamics 365 CE/Dataverse solutions (tables, relationships, forms, views, model-driven apps, business rules) Experience implementing server-side business logic through plugins, workflows and Power Automate automation Experience building dashboards, charts and reports, and implementing CRM security and auditing (business units, teams, security roles, field-level security) Experience with data migration and data quality activities (mapping, cleansing, repeatable imports/scripts) Technical (Engineering, Integration and Operations): Demonstrated experience with Power Platform ALM, release management and CI/CD using Azure DevOps for D365/Power Platform deployments Experience with secure-by-design/DevSecOps practices and enterprise integration (Dataverse Web API, Azure Service Bus/REST/Azure SQL, C#/.NET) Experience with Power Platform governance and operations (DLP/connectors, monitoring and troubleshooting) and Microsoft 365 integration (e.g. SharePoint Online) Ways of Working: Ability to deliver in a fast-paced agile environment, manage competing priorities and adapt as requirements evolve Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including clear reporting on status, risks and dependencies Collaborate in multidisciplinary, geographically dispersed teams Produce fit-for-purpose technical documentation and support BAU handover You must hold a current Baseline security clearance at commencement – this is non-negotiable as the role requires immediate access to PROTECTED information and systems This is a well-established ICT division within a large department that values practical delivery and technical depth. Teams operate in agile environments with genuine support for flexible and hybrid working arrangements. Multiple CRM development resources are engaged across the division, so you will be part of a broader Dynamics 365 practice.
