About The Position This is a true 2IC role, working closely with the Venue Manager to oversee daily operations across the entire venue. You will take the lead across gaming, bar and floor operations, ensuring compliance, service standards and team performance are consistently met. The role requires a hands-on leader who is confident running shifts, managing staff and stepping up as the most senior person on site when required. Position Description Oversee day-to-day venue operations across bar, bistro and gaming Lead, train and support staff to maintain service and compliance standards Manage gaming operations including payouts, reporting and AML/CTF compliance Handle cash management, reconciliations and end-of-day procedures Assist with rostering, labour control and staff performance management Step into Venue Manager responsibilities when required Maintain a strong presence on the floor during peak service periods Position Requirements Previous experience as a Duty Manager or Assistant Manager in a high-volume venue Strong gaming knowledge including TAB, Keno and compliance requirements Confident leadership style with the ability to manage and motivate a team Solid understanding of venue operations, reporting and cash handling Ability to work a rotating roster including nights and weekends RSA, RCG and relevant gaming compliance certificates Strong communication skills and a hands-on approach Salary & Benefits $85,000 to $100,000 salary package depending on experience Stable, well-structured venue with consistent trade Opportunity to step into a true 2IC leadership role Supportive management team with long-term career progression To apply online, please click on the apply button.
