What to Expect: Supporting the Department of Defence, specifically the Defence Science Technology Group (DSTG) Setting up and conducting trials in laboratories and outdoor ranges Hands-on tasks, including welding, using power tools, and maintaining specialist equipment Assisting with pre-trial planning, trial execution, and post-trial activities Working in both physical environments and technical workshops Key Requirements: Australian Citizenship (mandatory for security clearances) Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in technical workshops Proficiency with tools, equipment, and software applications A valid driver’s licence Ability to work in remote locations as needed Desirable Skills: Tertiary qualification in science or engineering Trade certificate, forklift licence, doggers licence, or first aid certification Why Register?
