Quick overview of the role In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of scheduled items, as well as assisting with the collection and return of materials. You will ensure all loads are securely restrained, carry out loading and unloading activities, and operate in full compliance with transport legislation and safety standards. As a key representative of Neumann Steel on-site, you will also play an important role in delivering excellent customer service, responding to queries, and building positive relationships with our clients. Conduct pre-start checks on the vehicle and all equipment before use Report any faults to their manager/representative immediately Complete daily run sheets and have all delivery notes signed Drive and work in a safe manner at all times Adhere to COR requirements Complete daily load audits Ensure tidy presentation of vehicle, and equipment at all times. Ensure all required documentation is correctly compiled in accordance with state regulations Thorough knowledge of the regulation and requirements of NSW and QLD Road Rules and adhering to transport legislation/guidelines and road safety guidelines at all times Assist customer requests in regards to placement Assist customers with any queries/disputes Report all queries/disputes to the Transport Coordinator. What are we looking for in the successful candidate?
