Experienced Chef required for THE URVINS DINING PTY LTD to run out outlets at 1A Barker Ave Hillsborough NSW 2290 Australia. Working hours Fulltime (38 hours) per week. We are currently looking for an experienced kitchen professional to help us prepare and serve quality, fresh food to our customers. This role offers up to 38 hours per week We're fast without compromise and our food is delicious without scrimping on goodness. We make the majority of food from scratch ourselves, a combination of freshly made, quality produce that has been locally and ethically sourced where possible. Duties and Responsibilities Responsibility for all operational aspects of the kitchen. Monitor portion control, food costs, and minimise wastage Plan, prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with the restaurant’s menu and quality standards Ensure quality and presentation of all foods Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff where required Develop and update menu items based on customer preferences and seasonal availability Implements rosters within a strict budget Receiving & storing food stocks, kitchen supplies and equipment Assisting in the ordering and controlling of Stocks Discussing food preparation issues with senior management Maintaining Quality and Presentation standards Implementing systems & procedures Qualifications and Experience Must have AQF Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Kitchen Mgmt and Diploma of Hospitality Management Must have experience worked as Chef for more than 1 years In return we offer a salary between $ 70,000 - $80 ,000 and a chance to work with a great team of people.
