About The Opportunity The primary purpose of this position is to deliver clear, compelling and high‑quality communications for GirlGuiding New Zealand, through hands‑on drafting, editing, publishing and coordination of content across all communications channels. This role is responsible for the day‑to‑day execution of communications activity and personally undertakes drafting and delivery tasks. Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, some of your responsibilities will include: Create and deliver high-quality content across multiple channels, tailored to diverse audiences Manage publishing across digital platforms, including scheduling and maintaining content calendars Support digital marketing activity through website, email and social media execution Provide operational communications support, including proactive and reactive messaging and escalation of risks Ensure all communications are accurate, accessible, consistent and aligned with brand standards Use data, feedback and insights to continuously improve communications effectiveness About You The successful candidate will have: 2 years of experience in a fast-paced communications role Strong copywriting, brand, digital marketing and communications skills and demonstrable sound editorial judgement Experience using content management systems, email marketing platforms and social media scheduling tools Experience working to deadlines in a reactive environment, balancing competing priorities Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement and escalate communications risks or sensitivities appropriately Excellent attention to detail and a positive, “can do” attitude It would also be desirable if you have: Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Communications or other relevant field Previous management experience in the Not for Profit sector or a community-focused role Familiarity with using analytics or performance data to improve communications effectiveness What's in it for You?
