Beveridge Williams is seeking a motivated Draftsperson to join our growing S ubsurface Utility Investigation (SUI) team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy delivering innovative development and infrastructure solutions. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality drafting services, supporting projects from concept through to construction. Working closely with internal teams, clients, and sub-consultants, you will ensure all plans meet relevant standards and project requirements. Key Responsibilities Prepare plans in accordance with client, council, and company standards Produce drawings for quotes, contracts, council lodgement, and construction Review sketches, notes, and documentation for accuracy and completeness Amend existing plans and drawings as required Liaise with internal teams, clients, and sub-consultants Assist in the preparation of survey plans (detail, identification, lease, and LPI plans) Contribute to continuous improvement and CAD capability across the business About You Proficient (or working towards proficiency) in AutoCAD Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Understanding of Dial Before You Dig plans and utility drawings Familiarity with AS5488-2019 and utility investigation methodologies Qualifications & Experience Relevant tertiary qualification or Diploma/Certificate in CAD Experience in drafting within engineering, surveying, or infrastructure environments Strong computer and technical skills Understanding of planning and environmental legislation is desirable Why Join Beveridge Williams?
