In this rewarding role, you will play an important part in creating high-quality, nutritious meals that bring joy to our residents, many of whom have special dietary needs.Permanent Part Time – Monday to Friday – 9:00 am to 5:00 pmAbout the RoleAs our Cook, you will:Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision, creativity, and attention to dietary requirementsMaintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment in line with cleaning and infection-control standardsKeep accurate records of key kitchen and stock dataLiaise with supervisors and suppliers regarding stock control and orderingWork collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operationsContribute ideas for menu development and special eventsWhat You will BringYou are someone who enjoys working with the elderly and understands the impact good food can have on wellbeing. Your excellent time-management skills, reliability, and commitment to safe food practices make you a valuable addition to our team.You will also bring:Demonstrated knowledge of commercial food preparation, cooking processes, and a strong knowledge of food hygiene.
