They combine Shopify, data, and performance marketing to scale globally and we are investing heavily in the engineering systems that power that growth. The Role This is a hands-on Lead Shopify Engineer / Tech Lead role focused on Shopify, ecommerce performance, CRO, and martech systems. You will sit at the intersection of engineering and growth, building systems that directly drive revenue. There is no large team management. This role is about building, shipping, and optimising. What You’ll Build A high-performance Shopify Plus ecommerce storefront Shopify themes and customisations using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML and CSS Experimentation frameworks for A/B testing, CRO, and personalisation Martech integrations across GA4, CDPs (Segment), CRM (Klaviyo), and ad platforms Scalable tracking, attribution, and event data systems APIs, webhooks, and automation connecting Shopify, marketing, and data platforms Skills & Experience Strong Shopify experience including Shopify Plus, Liquid, themes, and APIs Advanced JavaScript skills Solid HTML, CSS, and frontend performance optimisation Experience in ecommerce or DTC environments Experience integrating martech and analytics tools Strong experience with APIs and third-party integrations Why This Role Stands Out Direct impact on revenue, conversion, and growth Full ownership of the Shopify and martech ecosystem Work closely with a high-performing growth team Ship fast with no red tape or long approval cycles Test ideas and see results in days, not months Scale systems across Australia, the UK, and the US
