Urbis, Shaping futures your way! The Opportunity: We are looking for a proactive and driven Associate Director to join our expanding Valuations team in Brisbane. As an Associate Director in our market leading Hospitality and Leisure team, you will be responsible for valuation of “Going concern” assets, including hotels, taverns and clubs, in addition to consultancy and advisory projects across the broader Urbis business. The opportunity also offers a strong pathway to Director level and ability to maintain and grow our market share in this sector, at a local, state and national level. Prior experience and knowledge in this sector and knowledge of profit and loss accounts, DCF, and capitalisation models is highly regarded. in addition to excellent report writing skills, effective communication and networking/client liaison skills. . You will: Have exposure to a diverse range of clients and projects and an ability to bring, build and manage key client relationships Undertake research, analysis and problem solving to support the provision of quality reporting. Have the opportunity to work across multi-disciplinary projects with Urbis's other service areas (e.g., Urban Planning, Urban Design). Team mentoring and training aimed at facilitating a pathway to Director level. Promote the firm and its services to create business opportunities. Assist the team with tech and operational advancements, including our AI and other operating platforms. Provide assistance and work closely with Assistant Valuers as required and manage other team members Other duties as directed About You: Tertiary qualifications in Valuation either at graduate or post graduate level Membership of API and Certified Practising Valuer accreditation. Relevant work experience within the going concern asset class Demonstrates an ability to work independently and build rapport and effective working relationships with team members and clients. Demonstrated experience and strong track record with a similar role at similar level. Intermediate to advanced level in using Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel). Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret and critically review sales, leases and other research data. Entrepreneurial skills and drive to help shape advancement of the team. Why Urbis?
