Project Engineer – Major Infrastructure | 19:9 FIFO | Surat Basin We’ve been exclusively engaged on a highly confidential infrastructure project in Queensland and are seeking a switched-on Project Engineer ready to step up in a fast-paced, technically complex environment. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity based on a FIFO roster from Brisbane to the Surat Basin, working with a tier-one aligned contractor known for delivering essential energy and infrastructure solutions. Join a high-performing team with a strong project pipeline Varied, hands-on scope across planning, scheduling, procurement & quality Be part of a future-facing business delivering high-impact work in energy & resources Enjoy job security and excellent career progression opportunities What You’ll Be Doing: Oversee project engineering from mobilisation to completion Develop and maintain construction schedules, trackers and forecasts Manage subcontracts and procurement processes Interpret drawings, specs and plans, identifying and resolving any technical issues Monitor project risks, costs, and compliance across safety, quality, and environment Work closely with the engineering manager, site teams, and other stakeholders Provide mentorship and coordination for site engineers where required What We’re Looking For: Engineering degree (civil/mechanical/electrical) or equivalent 2 years’ experience in construction, oil & gas, or civil infrastructure Familiarity with HDPE, pipeline, or lease work (preferred but not essential) Strong planning, communication and site coordination skills A solutions-focused mindset and collaborative working style High attention to detail, especially around compliance and reporting Location: FIFO from Brisbane to Surat Basin Package: Competitive salary super site uplift (depending on experience) Start: ASAP This is a role where you’ll grow fast, work with great people, and help deliver projects that matter.
