Project Controller – Major Capital Project Alchemy Recruitment are partnering with a leading resources organisation to appoint a Project Controller to support the delivery of a major project. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing engineering team as a key member of the project leadership team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing integrated cost, schedule and risk control, supporting informed decision-making and successful project delivery. Acting as trusted advisor to the Project Manager, ensuring accurate reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis across the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Support project strategy, planning and execution decisions Provide insights on cost, schedule and risk performance Work closely with Project Managers and stakeholders Develop and maintain detailed project schedules Conduct schedule risk analysis and scenario planning Ensure critical path integrity and alignment with project objectives Establish and manage project budgets and forecasts Monitor cost performance and identify improvement opportunities Develop cashflows and time-phased cost profiles Maintain and manage project risk registers Track mitigation actions and escalate key risks Assess and communicate impacts of project changes Deliver accurate and timely performance reports Skills and Experience Proven experience as a Project Controls lead working on a major project (>100m in execution) Exposure to major capital projects, ideally within mining, energy or infrastructure Strong understanding of cost, schedule and risk integration Experience with tools such as Primavera P6 / MS Project and advanced Excel Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills In return you can expect Competitive salary 13% super Exposure to complex, high-value projects Strong career development and progression opportunities Collaborative and high-performing team environment 2-year fixed term contract Brisbane based role 5/2 roster Alchemy Recruitment is a registered and proud preferred industry employer for Women, and we recognise that we are strengthened by diversity.
