This is a Full Time position. Ryman Healthcare are proud of its world class retirement living facilities, with beautiful gardens and grounds for residents to enjoy. Our Facilities Manager will be expected to develop and maintain a proactive approach to the management and supervision of reactive and programmed maintenance. With experience in project and contractor management, the Facilities Manager will play a role in project delivery for any redevelopment works and assisting in managing sales refurbishments. There is a strong focus on communication and leading by example in this role as the Facilities Manager will supervise our small but mighty village Gardening & Maintenance team with the ability to exhibit a "hands on" approach, as needed. As the village operates 24 hours seven days a week, there is an on-call component to this role and afterhours attendance may be necessary from time to time as the Facilities Manager is the primary contact for all facility issues. This role has a strong focus on health and safety, maintenance standards, environmental and sustainability practices to ensure our villages are enjoyed by residents for years to come.
