The Role: We have an exceptional chance for you to scale your experience and career in Corporate Finance (Transaction Services) specifically in Financial Due Diligence. In this role, you will provide due diligence and transaction advisory services to our clients to meet their complex financial needs. You will work directly with the CF partner, TS team and clients, where the outcomes of your work can have immediate impact on the deal. Key Responsibilities: Our clients include privately held and publicly traded companies, private equity funds, and business development companies. This multi-faceted client base allows us to provide our staff with a variety of opportunities across numerous industries, and a constant flow of challenging and meaningful work. Proactively analyse detailed financial information including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, forecast and key operational data of targets/clients through reviewing management accounts and accounting records. Synthesize and convert the data into meaningful information to analyse trends and conclusions and in turn to be used to drive discussions with target management. Based on analysis of historical and forecast financial information, provide well articulated analytical and commercial insights and prepare financial due diligence data books, and write high quality financial due diligence reports for buy-side, sell-side and pre-lend due diligence assignments. Identify issues and drivers that impact purchase price, sale agreement drafting, and deal structuring Participate and lead in meetings and conference calls with target company management and with client personnel to ensure delivery of exceptional client service. Assisting with Investigating Accountant’s Report assignments for capital raisings and IPOs Coach and develop a team of talented juniors to build trusted relationships and grow their capabilities and in turn leading to firm’s and personal growth. Leverage our integrated offering and ‘build your brand’ across the firm and clients. Assist in business development, client pitch including preparing proposals for new and potential clients with the aim of winning work. Assist in risk management, other general marketing and operational activities. What we are looking for: Academic qualifications including a Bachelors in Accounting/Finance/Business and a CA or international equivalent. Between 5-8 years of experience in a mid to large size professional services firm with experience in a Transaction diligence role performing audits, financial due diligence and related services for a diverse client base. Strong numerical & analytical skills with sound business acumen High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Fluent written and spoken communication skills, as well as strong report-writing and presentation skills Proactive, willingness to learn, attention to detail and commercially minded Project management skills, ability to thrive and multitask, and able to keep calm when under pressure to meet deadlines.
