About the Opportunity The ASC Warehouse traineeship is a 2-year fixed term combined learning program of practical work skills (‘On the Job Training’) with formal certificate level study. The role is designed to provide a rewarding pathway opportunity for Warehouse trainees, building upon the workplace experience and exposure to specific areas including warehousing, freight & tool store environments, while undertaking formalised learning experience. Throughout the traineeship, you will work towards gaining your: Forklift Truck license White Card Certificate of Imports & Export Logistics Certificate of Freight Forwarding - International Electrical Safety Testing of Electrical Cord Connected Equipment and Cord Assemblies Skill Set. At the end of successful training, you will be provided with a formal qualification. Responsibilities The traineeship program will give you the skills and experience: Learn to schedule, arrange, control, and optimise your work and workloads in an effective and constructive manner. Support the business to ensure that all material transactions are completed accurately and on time. Support the team to pick and issue supplies and book freight. Provide administration support to ensure warehousing and logistics tasks are delivered on time. Attend required TAFE courses and blocks. Committed to work on a rotational aspect to learn and grow throughout the business. About you Desire to grow a career in Warehousing and logistics Commitment to obtain Certificate 3 in Warehousing and Logistics whilst receiving on the job training. Sound verbal and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (required) and a good level of computer literacy. Enjoys an active work environment. Good organisational skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively. Ability to work well in a team setting and collaborate with various stakeholders. Eligibility Hold a current driver’s licence and own transport. Be 18 years of age by start date to be eligible to obtain a Forklift Truck license during traineeship. Not currently undertaking or completed, TLI30321 Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations (Warehousing Operations) Not in a current Contract of Training This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
