Your New Role - Business Development Manager Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: To obtain new customers as per the sales target To maintain existing customers Prepare Sales Order Forms with the advice of Customer Service Prepare quotations for services for both potential and existing customers Host overseas sales visitors and national route development managers as required (this may require evening and/or weekend entertainment of visitor) Qualify prospective customers via telephone or in person In conjunction with Service Department, send rate and service level instructions to appropriate overseas offices of the Hellmann network Taking appropriate corrective action to prevent recurrence of non-conformances What you will need to succeed: I would love to speak to individuals who bring experience from the Freight Forwarding sector. The ideal candidates should demonstrate the following qualifications: At least 3 years' minimum experience in a Business Development manager role Global freight forwarding & selling experience: 2 years’ experience preferred.
