Requirements LCC Designer – Power Distribution (Energex) INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES | BRISBANE (HENDRA) The Opportunity We’re looking for an experienced LCC Designer to join our Infrastructure Services team in Hendra, working across a strong pipeline of Energex subdivision and power distribution projects. This is a hands-on design role suited to someone who enjoys producing high-quality, compliant Energex designs, working collaboratively with construction and project teams, and taking ownership of their work from concept through to IFC. You’ll be part of a close-knit, technically strong design team delivering real infrastructure outcomes — with support, stability, and room to grow. What You’ll Be Doing Producing concept and detailed LCC designs for Energex subdivision and power distribution projects Preparing and reviewing Energex works plans and associated documentation Ensuring designs comply with Energex standards, manuals and applicable regulations Coordinating with internal Project Managers, construction teams and other designers Liaising with Energex and relevant authorities as required for approvals and design queries Supporting design reviews, verifications and design updates throughout the project lifecycle Assisting with resolving design issues and contributing to practical, buildable outcomes About You You’re a confident LCC Designer who takes pride in delivering quality designs and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team. Y ou’ll bring: Experience in Energex LCC / power distribution design Strong understanding of subdivision design requirements and workflows Ability to read, interpret and apply Energex standards and technical documentation Familiarity with standards and manuals including Energex LCC Design & Planning Manual, QECM, QEMM, AS3000, AS3008, AS2067, STNW1174/1175 and relevant DNSP requirements Solid communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset Competency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Project) If you come from a trade background within the distribution network, that’s a strong advantage — but not essential.
