We are currently partnering with a well-known mining organisation to recruit an experienced Structural Engineer for a major Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) project based in Karratha, WA. This is an ongoing contract opportunity supporting a 2-year project, offering strong continuity and exposure to critical mining infrastructure. The Opportunity Working within the TSF team, you will play a key role in delivering structural engineering support across the project lifecycle. This position is critical in ensuring structural integrity, constructability, and compliance across site-based infrastructure and TSF-related assets. Key Responsibilities Provide structural engineering support across TSF and associated infrastructure scopes Review and interpret structural designs, drawings, and specifications for site execution Ensure alignment between design intent, construction activities, and operational requirements Support site-based construction, including inspections, verification, and quality assurance Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure safe and efficient delivery Monitor progress, identify structural risks, and contribute to technical problem solving on site Assist with documentation, reporting, and compliance with relevant engineering standards About You Proven experience as a Structural Engineer within mining, resources, or heavy industry Exposure to TSF, bulk earthworks, or mining infrastructure projects highly regarded Strong understanding of structural design, analysis, and site-based delivery Experience working closely with construction teams in a site environment Ability to interpret and manage structural drawings and specifications Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Mandarin language skills preferred Ability to work in a site-based environment in Karratha What's on Offer $67.35 per hour Super 12 month casual contract with strong potential for extension Long-term opportunity supporting a 2-year major mining project * Work within a high-performing and collaborative team environment Apply Now If you're an experienced Structural Engineer looking to secure a long-term role within a leading mining project, we encourage you to apply.
