THE ROLE Working under the direction of a Residential Care and Services Manager, you’ll deliver hands-on personal care that’s guided by each resident’s individual care plan. Every day looks a little different, but the focus is always the same: the person in front of you. Deliver personal care in line with each resident’s care plan, supporting their goals and daily needs Listen to residents and take the time to understand what matters most to them Accurately record consumer outcomes in Baptcare systems Build respectful relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders Contribute to continuous improvement across the home Report workplace and consumer risks to management promptly and appropriately Attend scheduled training to maintain your skills and compliance ABOUT YOU You’re reliable, compassionate, and bring genuine energy to every shift. Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent Minimum 12 months’ experience working in a residential aged care facility Genuine passion for caring for older people and supporting their wellbeing Honest, reliable, and attentive to detail Strong team player with the ability to maintain confidentiality Flexible and positive — comfortable working across a variety of shifts National Police Check (or willingness to obtain) Proof of working rights in Australia Willingness to complete a medical assessment to confirm physical capability for the role ABOUT BAPTCARE Baptcare is a for-purpose, Christian care organisation providing residential aged care, disability support, and community services across Victoria, Tasmania, and Western Australia.
