About the opportunity Fantastic opportunity to become a rural generalist senior Speech Pathologist at Mercy Care Centre, Young, NSW (MMCY). MCCY is a publicly funded rural hospital and community service. Our Speech Pathologist provides care to inpatient acute, sub-acute inpatients (rehabilitation, geriatric rehabilitation and palliative care), adult community outpatients, and Transitional Aged Care Program. To thrive in this role, you will have: Previous hospital-based experience Be an advocate for the speech therapy profession, excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills and have a positive approach. Be a leader amongst the Allied Health team encouraging education, best practice, efficiency and a collaborative team environment. You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining: SPA Registration and Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status; a current Police Record Check and NSW Working with Children Check.
