Bankstown Sports are seeking an experienced Security Manager to lead and oversee the delivery of security services across multiple Bankstown Sports venues. This role is pivotal in maintaining the safety of staff and patrons, fostering a culture of vigilance, and ensuring high standards of customer service. You will drive continuous improvement, operational efficiencies, and proactive risk mitigation across all security operations. Key Responsibilities • Emergency & Crisis Management: Establish and maintain effective emergency and crisis management protocols to ensure rapid, coordinated, and compliant responses to incidents across the Club. • Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinate and maintain strong working relationships with law enforcement, regulatory bodies, and local liquor accords to manage security risks impacting the Club and surrounding community. • Policy & Procedure Development: Develop, implement, and maintain robust security policies and procedures to safeguard Club assets, members, staff, and reputation. • Security Operations & Contractor Oversight: Oversee all security contractors, including vendor management and security equipment procurement, ensuring services meet operational, compliance, and performance standards. • Security Infrastructure & Access Control: Audit, manage, and maintain security infrastructure, including surveillance systems, access controls, alarms, and key management processes. • Incident Investigation & Reporting: Investigate security incidents, breaches, and misconduct, preparing accurate reports and providing findings and recommendations to management. • Training & Awareness: Deliver staff security training, briefings, and awareness sessions to strengthen emergency preparedness, compliance, and situational response. • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and develop security teams through ongoing performance management, mentoring, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Customer Service & Engagement: Uphold high standards of customer service when responding to member and staff enquiries, fostering a welcoming, professional, and secure environment at all times. What We're Looking For Management level experience in Police Force or Security is essential. Strong record ensuring safety for staff and patrons while upholding excellent customer service standards Skilled in security technologies (CCTV systems, access control and related software) Willingness to work a flexible roster (including days, nights, weekends, peak periods) Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a dynamic, fast paced environment Current NSW Driver’s License and ability to drive between external venues High integrity, trustworthiness and discretion, committed to strict confidentiality Able to obtain and maintain a valid Police Background Check as required by security industry and Club compliance standards RSA and RCG Competencies (or willingness to obtain) What We Offer We’re committed to growing your career and your impact.
