About the opportunity A newly created opportunity within Medical Information and Pharmacovigilance. This is a broad, hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in managing customer enquiries, complaints, and safety reporting activities. This position is evolving, with an increasing focus on Pharmacovigilance over time, making it ideal for someone who wants to grow their exposure beyond case processing into wider PV activities such as signal detection and literature review. You’ll work closely with the team while also operating independently, contributing to a function that is still building and refining processes. Duties • Provide accurate, timely medical information to consumers, healthcare professionals, and customers • Manage product enquiries and complaints, including investigation and resolution • Identify and process adverse events, side effects, and safety cases in line with SOPs • Maintain and update safety data within systems such as ARGUS and MedDRA coding frameworks • Support signal detection activities and escalate potential safety concerns • Conduct literature reviews and contribute to broader PV activities as the role evolves • Liaise with manufacturers to investigate product quality issues and support CAPA activities • Ensure compliance with SOPs, QMS frameworks, and regulatory requirements including TGA standards • Support audit readiness and participate in PV audits and inspections • Manage customer interactions via phone and CRM systems, ensuring high-quality service delivery Skills and Experience • Tertiary qualification in Science, Pharmacy or Medical Science • Demonstrated experience in Pharmacovigilance, Medical Information, or a related function • Hands-on PV experience • Strong understanding of SOP-driven environments and compliance frameworks • Experience with safety databases such as ARGUS and MedDRA coding highly regarded • Excellent communication skills with confidence handling customer interactions • High attention to detail with the ability to follow processes accurately • Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a role that is still evolving • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team Culture Join a supportive and collaborative team led by an approachable manager who encourages ownership, initiative, and teamwork.
