About the Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cardiac Cath Lab Nurses to join our dynamic teams in Newcastle and Sydney at a leading hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures while delivering exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements Provide pre- and post-procedural nursing care, ensuring patient safety and comfort Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond promptly to clinical changes Prepare and maintain sterile fields and specialised equipment Educate patients and families regarding procedures and recovery Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including cardiologists, radiographers, and technicians Ensure adherence to infection control, safety standards, and hospital protocols Essential Criteria Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration Minimum 2 years’ experience in a cardiac Cath lab or critical care setting Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Desirable Skills Experience with interventional cardiology procedures Postgraduate qualification in critical care or cardiology nursing Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring systems What We Offer Competitive salary package and benefits Ongoing professional development and training opportunities Supportive and collaborative work environment Access to cutting-edge cardiac technology Opportunities for career progression How to Apply If you are passionate about cardiac care and want to be part of a high-performing clinical team, we would love to hear from you.
