Pan Divino is a modern Italian restaurant in Surry Hills, Sydney, offering a refined yet relaxed dining experience centred around seasonal produce, handmade pasta, and a strong focus on seafood. Pan Divino is now looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join their team. The right candidate will be responsible for: Overseeing daily restaurant operations across both front- and back-of-house to ensure seamless service; Leading and supervising service shifts, maintaining high standards of professionalism and efficiency; Recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new team members aligned with the venue’s service culture; Training and developing staff to deliver exceptional, guest-focused service; Preparing staff rosters and managing labour costs in line with business needs; Monitoring employee performance, conducting appraisals, and providing ongoing feedback; Handling customer feedback and resolving complaints to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction; Managing reservations flow and service pacing to optimise dining experience and turnover; Overseeing end-of-day procedures, including cash handling, reconciliation, and reporting; Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food quality standards; Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers; Monitoring financial performance, including weekly and monthly revenue, expenses, and cost control; Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance profitability; Maintaining high product and service quality, including menu consistency and presentation; Implementing creative and effective solutions to operational challenges as they arise. About You: At least 1 year of experience as a Restaurant Manager; Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure dining environment; Strong capability to deliver efficient, high-quality service while maintaining attention to detail; Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams; Outstanding customer service skills, focused on creating memorable and refined guest experiences.
