Property Maintenance Plus is now looking for an experienced Landscape Gardener to join their team. The right candidate will be responsible for: Mowing, trimming, tree cutting and pruning; Plants, transplants, fertilises, applies chemicals, waters, prunes, and weeds flower beds and plant areas; Tree planting and maintenance, including staking and pruning; Installing, operating, repairing and maintaining irrigation systems; Work with hand tools and machinery such as plant vehicles, and diggers; Perform maintenance such as cutting the grass, emptying bins, managing weed control and leaf raking; Maintain all areas clean and tidy; Train and supervise junior gardeners; Ensure a safe environment for staff and clients by adhering to safety and health regulations; Seeding and sodding lawns; Keep plants and flowers healthy by pruning and trimming trees and shrubs and weeding, mulching and aerating; Keep pedestrian areas removed of snow and ice; Maintain the existing landscaping design and ensure plant survival; Distributes proper fertilisers, insecticides, and organic materials; Install and maintain hard scapes; Water plants and grass as needed and apply fertiliser; The right candidate will possess: At least 1 year of experience as a Landscape Gardener; Strong ability to operator and control landscape and gardening equipment; Strong physical skills like lifting, bending and reaching; The ability to use, repair and maintain machines and tools; Strong attention to detail; Job type: Permanent/full-time Salary: $65,000 - $80,000
