14th April, 2026 Engineering Trades Australia are currently seeking experienced Electricians for multiple roles across established underground mining operations and a major pump hydro infrastructure project. With several sites requiring additional support and a large-scale project onboarding for May, we are looking to mobilise skilled electricians for immediate and upcoming starts. You will be working across underground environments and heavy industrial construction settings, supporting both maintenance and project-based electrical scopes. Current & Upcoming Projects Include Underground Mining Roles – QLD & NSW These roles focus on underground electrical maintenance, including fault finding, breakdown support on fixed and mobile plant, preventative maintenance, inspections, and ongoing operational support. Ernest Henry (QLD) 8:6 roster (dayshift), with occasional night shift requirements FIFO options available Peak Gold Mine – Cobar (NSW) FIFO from Brisbane or Sydney 7 days / 7 nights / 14 days off roster Dugald River (QLD) FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns 8:6 dayshift / 7:7 nightshift rotating roster Lake Cowal (NSW) 7 days : 7 nights : 14 days off roster FIFO Sydney Pay: From $78/hr depending on experience Pump Hydro Project – Kidston Major renewable energy infrastructure project 2:1 roster Onboarding now for 19th May start FIFO options available (project dependent) Suitable for electricians with heavy industrial, construction, or tunnelling experience What’s in it for you?
