Are you a hands-on change leader who knows how to bring people through complex transformation? A prominent Queensland Government Department is looking for a Change Manager to join the Migration of IT Services . This is an opportunity to play a key role in a significant ICT project, leading business change, stakeholder communication and user acceptance testing to help deliver successful outcomes for government and the Queensland community. The opportunity In this role, you will lead and coordinate end-to-end change activities across the project lifecycle. You will work closely with stakeholders to develop and deliver change plans, impact assessments, communication materials, training plans and business readiness activities. You will also coordinate User Acceptance Testing, ensuring system and process changes are properly prepared, tested and embedded. This is a delivery-focused role for someone who is comfortable operating in a complex, technical project environment and who can balance strategy with hands-on execution. What you’ll be doing You will: Lead business change planning and delivery across the project lifecycle Develop key change artefacts including stakeholder maps, impact assessments, communication plans, training plans and readiness assessments Partner with stakeholders to implement and sustain change Coordinate communication, engagement and benefits realisation activities Lead User Acceptance Testing planning, execution and reporting Provide high-level advice and work collaboratively with senior stakeholders across a complex ICT environment What we’re looking for You will bring: Strong experience in change planning, analysis, problem solving and delivery Proven capability developing and implementing change and communication strategies in complex project environments Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience advising senior leaders The ability to work in a collaborative, consultative and outcomes-focused way Experience in contemporary change management approaches will be highly regarded, as will exposure to ICT projects, particularly Microsoft 365 desktop or tenancy migrations, or similar technology transitions.
