Senior Financial Analyst – Operations Finance 12 Month Fixed Term Contract | $130k Base Super Bonus We are partnering with a large, well-known Australian organisation to recruit a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Operations Finance team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a highly visible role leading a small team while partnering closely with operational stakeholders to drive financial performance across a portfolio of assets. The Opportunity This opportunity offers strong leadership exposure, a highly commercial remit and the chance to influence key business decisions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will lead a team of analysts and play a key role in financial management, forecasting and strategic business partnering across a large operational portfolio. You will work closely with operational and asset stakeholders, helping them understand financial performance and key drivers while supporting budgeting, forecasting and month-end processes. This role is ideal for a strong communicator who enjoys working with non-finance stakeholders and leading teams in a commercially focused environment. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach and manage a team of analysts to deliver key finance processes Partner with operational stakeholders to drive financial performance Deliver month-end, forecasting and budgeting processes across income and expense lines Present results and key drivers to senior stakeholders Support portfolio and performance review meetings Drive process improvements and challenge existing reporting to increase efficiency Collaborate with finance peers to deliver key finance initiatives You will bring: Experience in a Senior Financial Analyst, Finance Business Partner or Commercial Finance role People management experience (essential) Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting experience Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A proactive and solutions-focused mindset CA/CPA qualification (preferred) Candidates from large corporate, retail, property, FMCG, aviation, infrastructure or similar environments will be highly regarded.
