About the Role You will oversee energy market analysis, trading strategy, portfolio optimisation, and customer risk management. The role includes leading a team of analysts and traders, enhancing analytical and AI capabilities, and managing a renewable energy portfolio. Key Responsibilities Lead trading, analytics, and portfolio management functions. Monitor wholesale energy markets and customer exposure using advanced data and AI tools. Develop and optimise trading, hedging, and risk strategies. Manage renewable generation assets and support asset dispatch strategy. Build and maintain trading policies, procedures, and risk frameworks. Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team. Qualifications & Experience Strong energy market analysis and trading leadership experience. 5 years in leadership or management of energy trading or portfolio analytics teams. Expertise in derivatives, forecasting, risk management, and advanced analytics/AI. Tertiary qualification in finance, economics, engineering, or a quantitative field.
