HAZELMERE WA LOCATION 6AM – 2PM SHIFT / MON – FRI GREAT TEAM, PLENTY OF EARNING POTENTIAL (OVERTIME & PAID ON CALL) Excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician with industrial experience. 6am – 2pm shift (afternoon shift coming soon). Overtime on offer. THE ROLE: Reporting to the Engineering Manager some of your key duties will include: Undertaking general repairs and providing electrical assistance Completing a range of maintenance and routine inspection tasks Reading and interpreting electrical, architectural, and mechanical diagrams, drawings, and specifications Performing maintenance work on electrical systems and equipment Conducting fault finding, testing, repair, and maintenance work on electrical equipment Ensuring execution of maintenance plan and be able to adjust when required based on production requirements THE CANDIDATE: To secure this role the ideal candidate will have: At least 3 years’ experience working as a professional Electrician within a fast-paced manufacturing or processing facility – you enjoy working in this kind of environment and understand the need for speed and accuracy when attending to a breakdown repair Trade Electrical qualification/s and WA Electrical Licence Fault finding experience with VSDs & PLCs (PLC’s not essential but would be great) Pneumatics experience is advantageous High level of accuracy and good manual dexterity Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams (HMI drawings etc) Knowledge of Siemens systems a bonus A forklift or EWP license as well as gas or cabling tickets (again, not essential but would be great if you do) This is an excellent opportunity to secure a role that offers a great team dynamic with majority of the crew having been there for 10 years. The current shift is 6am – 2pm with an afternoon shift being introduced within the next 3-6 months.
