The Role This is a delivery-focused Design Manager position, embedded within the construction team. You will take ownership of design coordination during pre-construction and delivery, ensuring documentation is buildable, efficient and aligned with programme and cost. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate design consultants through detailed design and construction phases Review documentation for buildability, sequencing and cost efficiency Lead design workshops with subcontractors to resolve interfaces and technical challenges Drive value engineering and design optimisation aligned with programme and budget Identify and mitigate design risks, RFIs and documentation gaps What you’ll bring to the table 5 years’ experience as a Design Manager on size commercial projects Strong understanding of construction methodology, staging and buildability Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in a live construction environment Commercially minded with a proactive, solutions-driven approach Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture This is an opportunity to join a builder developer with a strong track record of delivering premium projects and is set to have a billion in the pipeline in the next year.
