Administration Officer – Temporary Role (Potential to Go Permanent) Location: Northern suburbs of Perth Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 3:00pm (office-based) Rate: $36 per hour super (negotiable) Permanent Salary: $80,000 super (negotiable) Start: ASAP We are currently partnering with a well-established contractor to source a capable and organised Administration professional to join the team on a temporary basis, with a clear pathway to permanent employment for the right person. This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running of the office, payroll administration, and workforce coordination. You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and play a key role in ensuring accurate timesheets, smooth payroll processing, and compliant employment administration. Key Responsibilities General administration and front-of-house reception duties Allocate and reconcile hours for trades, operators, and labourers Cross-check timesheets against hours worked to support payroll processing Liaise with payroll and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies Coordinate visa documentation and work closely with migration agents Manage IMMI-related administration and employee visa records Support apprenticeship and traineeship programme administration Maintain accurate records across internal systems and platforms Provide ad hoc administrative support to the wider team About You Previous experience in administration within construction, mining, or a trade-based environment Exposure to payroll or time-sheeting processes is highly regarded Experience supporting visa management or workforce compliance is advantageous Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Professional communicator with a customer-focused approach Comfortable working fully office-based Available to start immediately or at short notice What’s on Offer Temporary role with genuine opportunity to transition to permanent Stable Monday–Friday hours (8am–3pm) Office-based role in Perth’s northern suburbs Supportive team environment with long-term career prospects To apply, submit your application or contact Rebekka Myles at - rebekka.myles@coretalent.com.au for a confidential discussion.
