Key areas you will be providing support include: As an Analyst/Senior Analyst, you will be part of a team driving strategic decision making across the following Group Treasury’s functions: Balance Sheet & Capital Management is responsible for CBA’s balance sheet and capital management functions. The team’s wide-ranging remit includes maintaining a strong and efficiency balance sheet to support business growth, maintaining an effective transfer pricing framework and lead and deliver on capital management strategy and initiatives. Balance Sheet Efficiency and Resilience focuses on optimising the CBA’s balance sheet and ensuring resilience across liquidity, funding and capital under both business-as-usual and stress conditions. The team delivers advanced analytics, including stress testing, scenario analysis and forecasting, to support strategic decision-making and regulatory requirements. You will contribute to the development and execution of financial models, creating actionable insights, and reporting that directly inform Treasury strategy. We're interested in hearing from people who value 1-5 years’ experience. Banking or financial services experience is preferable but not essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Can turn complex data into clear, commercial insights. Experience in financial modelling, forecasting or data analytics. Includes experience with SQL and at least one of Python, R or SAS. Practical understanding of the balance sheet within a banking or financial services environment. Excellent verbal, written communication skills and critical thinking skills. Stakeholder management and negotiation skills. Shows initiative, curiosity and prioritisation skills.
