We’re looking for a Logistics Manager to lead and evolve our end-to-end freight and distribution network , ensuring our product moves efficiently, reliably and at scale. The opportunity This is a leadership role with real commercial and operational impact . You’ll take ownership of Huon’s freight strategy - leading a capable team while shaping how product moves across Tasmania, Australia and into global markets. With a strong focus on performance, cost, and continuity , you’ll partner closely with carriers and internal stakeholders to deliver a logistics network that is fit for today - and scalable for the future. What you’ll be doing Own and lead Huon’s end-to-end freight and distribution strategy , across domestic and international markets Manage and optimise relationships with freight providers, carriers and 3PL partners , including performance, cost and contract outcomes Drive cold chain integrity and service reliability , ensuring product quality from site to customer Lead a high-performing team, building capability and accountability across logistics operations Use data and insights to optimise cost, service levels and network efficiency Identify and deliver continuous improvement and transformation initiatives across systems, processes and partners Manage risk, disruption and contingency planning across the supply chain Partner with sales, processing and operational teams to align logistics with customer demand and production planning Champion safety, quality and sustainability across all logistics activities A bit about you… You’re a proven leader who knows how to build, coach and lead high-performing teams , creating clarity, accountability and a strong performance culture You’ve successfully lifted team capability and performance , not just maintained it You lead with a balance of support and challenge , holding standards while bringing people with you through change Why join Huon?
